Cora Schumacher goes on a self-discovery trip to the jungle
When RTL's "I'm a star, get me out of here!" returns in January, viewers will get to know Cora Schumacher anew. The racing driver ex on "the journey to myself" is the second officially confirmed contender for the jungle crown.
Cora Schumacher will be a jungle camp participant. She is the second celebrity to be officially confirmed for the next edition of the RTL show. Actor Heinz Hoenig was previously confirmed. Commenting on her participation in "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!", Cora Schumacher says: "I will always try everything and am very excited."
The 46-year-old is a racing driver and model. She was married to ex-Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher from 2001 to 2015. Cora Schumacher was also featured in "Playboy" in 2015. Ahead of her jungle camp adventure, she now also reveals to RTL: "I'm on a journey to find myself ... I'm really looking forward to getting to know myself in a new way. That the viewers might get to know me and accompany me on my journey to myself."
Her biggest challenge will be the separation from her beloved dog and the question of whether her digestive tract will be able to cope with so many beans and "maybe a pig's penis on top", she adds. Not eating sugar could also become a problem, as she describes herself as a "cola and chocolate junkie" according to RTL. She goes on to explain: "I will probably be the biggest challenge for me." She also says of herself: "I need harmony." However, she is not afraid of conflict: "If I'm provoked, I can also show my edge."
In addition to Cora Schumacher and Heinz Hoenig, there is already speculation and rumors about other contestants for the upcoming season of "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!". As the "Bild" newspaper claims to have learned, Nico Legat, the 25-year-old son of former footballer Thorsten Legat, could allegedly also venture into the RTL jungle camp. In addition to him, "GZSZ" actor Felix von Jascheroff and former "GNTM" contestant Anya Elsner are also being touted as possible participants.
