He accompanied it with this note: "Amid all the back and forth, I'd like to clarify that Cora congratulated us in September (early October) 2023, believing we had already tied the knot. (...) I'm unfortunate for Étienne and I that she's spreading so many falsehoods. We both just want to be left alone."

While attending a race at the Nürburgring last weekend, he informed RTL: "I have no stake in this, it doesn't bother me. And as soon as the visor is down or the door is closed, it's only about racing and nothing else."
