Continued military actions by Israel in Gaza and the West Bank

The Hamas-overseen Civil Defense Authority in Gaza's administration declared that Israel executed a lethal assault on a tent in Khan Younis, situated in the southern part of the Palestinian territory. Residents from different areas of the Gaza Strip were lodged in this tent. Furthermore, the Israeli air force allegedly struck the core of the Gaza Strip.

In the West Bank, it's claimed that the Israeli air force assaulted an "armed extremist group" in Tulkarem on Monday night. Nonetheless, Palestinian medical officials asserted that Israeli soldiers fatally struck a boy with a headshot.

Israel's government is experiencing backlash, both domestically and internationally, due to its military operations in Gaza Strip and the West Bank. This critiquing escalated following the discovery of six hostages held by Hamas in Gaza Strip's demise over the weekend.

On Monday evening, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed remorse for the failed hostage rescue attempt. Yet, he also reaffirmed his firmness in discussions regarding a ceasefire agreement with Hamas. Meanwhile, the radical Palestinian organization threatened that the hostages taken into Gaza Strip would be returned "in coffins" if Israel persisted with military action.

Approximately eleven months following the major Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, there are still 97 hostages under the control of Hamas and other militant Palestinian groups, with 33 of them presumed to have perished.

The international community is raising concerns about Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, specifically the area of Khan Younis in the West Bank, where an "armed extremist group" was reportedly targeted by the Israeli air force. The conflict in the West Bank is also affecting the situation in the Gaza Strip, with Hamas holding six hostages captured over the weekend, threatening to return them "in coffins" if Israeli military operations continue.
