At eighteen, Summer Terenzi, daughter of Sarah Connor and Marc Terenzi, experiences her rite of passage. Even her father didn't want to miss this significant event, joining the festivities despite their divorce in 2010. Summer's special day was celebrated with family love and unique traditions. Her aunt Anna-Maria Ferchichi, wife of rapper Bushido, made a special trip from Dubai to celebrate.
Typical for an eighteenth birthday are wishes, gifts, and a cake. Summer certainly had her fair share of these delights. To her joy, she celebrated her coming-of-age with her loved ones.
On this occasion, her father Marc penned a heartfelt message for his daughter: "To the most significant woman who will always be in my life: Today belongs to you! You've grown into the most magnificent woman I've ever met. I couldn't be prouder to call you my daughter." In a recent photo, Summer plants a kiss on her father's cheek, while he beams with pride. "The finest woman in the world," he proudly proclaims.
Amidst the birthday festivities, traditional games
Besides the delightful surprises of a birthday, Summer had to partake in two family traditions that were less enjoyable for her, but more entertaining for the guests. Lulu Lewe, Sarah Connor's youngest sister, who reached fifth place in the recent "Let's Dance" season on RTL with professional dancer Massimo Sinato, explains this tradition in an Instagram video.
Traditionally, on an eighteenth birthday, there's an egg fight. The birthday person, in this case, Summer, had to endure this unusual family ritual - styling considerations were tossed aside. Videos from the garden party show several raw eggs being cracked on her head.
That's not all for the newly eighteen-year-old; she's then unwillingly pushed into the pool. Her father Marc and brother Tyler are the ones responsible for soaking Summer. Lulu Lewe clarifies in her Instagram story, "At our family parties, people are often thrown into the pool. So, if we ask you if you can take a quick look at the faucet to see if anything is wrong, consider taking a quick dip instead." At least father and brother join her for a swim in the pool.
