- Comedy Street is back: new episodes with Joyn
After a break of over ten years, entertainer Simon Gosejohann (48) is back with new episodes of "Comedystreet". Joyn will air 20 new episodes of the show starting August 7. The streaming platform of ProSiebenSat.1 announced this on Wednesday. "This time, the comedian is not alone on his journey." Comedian Sandra Sprünken and social media entertainer Marco Gianni will support him on his tour through Germany's inner cities. "One thing remains unchanged: Before the unsuspecting passersby know what hit them, the comedians with the hidden camera are already gone."
"Cringeworthy faces"
Gosejohann is excited: "It's so much fun to be back on the streets and causing those cringeworthy faces." Between 2002 and 2013, "Comedystreet" with Simon Gosejohann aired on ProSieben.
Thomas Münzner, programming chief of Joyn, said in the statement: "Anarchic, somewhat childish, with a healthy dose of second-hand embarrassment, and that's exactly why it's so funny and timeless: A show like 'Comedystreet' is something we haven't had on Joyn yet."
Gosejohann expresses his excitement for the new episodes, stating, "I'm thrilled to cause those 'cringeworthy faces' again on 'Comedystreet'."In promoting the show on social media, Gosejohann often uses the hashtag #Comedystreet on his Pro7 account.
