Powerful Weather Phenomenon Bullet-Strikes Region - Cleaning up after a potential tornado in Hagen.
The streets of Hagen have been cleared of debris following a powerful gust of wind that could have been a tornado. According to a fire department spokesperson, merely one more dry sweep is required to complete the cleanup process.
Over a span of just ten minutes, this sudden windstorm tore the roof off a church tower and pulled out trees. Roofs of houses and vehicles alike sustained damage as well. 120 individuals were dispatched by both the volunteer and professional fire departments to address the most severe damage at 40 different locations. Remarkably, there were no reported injuries. It's highly likely that this was a tornado, as indicated by the German Weather Service, "It's quite probable that it was a short-lived tornado," stated a spokesperson.
