Family Tradition - Christiane Paul shows old black-and-white films to her children

Actress Christiane Paul (50) enjoys watching old black-and-white film classics with her children. She started showing them art house films or old movies to her children early on, Paul mentioned in the "NDR Talk Show" on Friday evening.

At first, they hated it. "Now it's different, they're almost grown up, and they really enjoy it. They can even add their own things to the list." It's fascinating because you can also see if the films still work today.

At first, her son was puzzled by the old films in black-and-white, but it has since become a "beautiful tradition." Her own films are not present during family film screenings, Paul added.

In Berlin, where Paul resides in Germany, she often discusses her love for old movies on television shows like the "NDR Talk Show." Despite initially disliking the black-and-white films, her children have grown fond of them and even appreciate adding their own favorites to the list. German people, including Christiane Paul's family, find enjoyment in revisiting classic films over television.
