Singer - Cher still feels 20 in her head
Pop icon Cher likes to rely on her gut feeling when it comes to relationships. "I think I have a healthy seventh sense about myself," the 77-year-old, who has been dating music producer Alexander Edwards (37) for a year, told the magazine "Bunte". She doesn't worry about the age difference. "In my subconscious, I am often very clear about what is good for me, what I find attractive and who or what suits me."
She still feels like she's 20 in her head. "I also have a lot of really young friends and lots of godchildren. Young people like me. So I get a lot of behind-the-scenes glimpses of youth, of young life."
She and Edwards had met at Paris Fashion Week in the fall of 2022 and also spent their first anniversary there, as the Oscar, Emmy and Grammy winner explained. The singer and actress has already been married twice and has two grown-up sons; Edwards has a son with his ex-girlfriend, model Amber Rose.
Cher, who released her Christmas album "Christmas" this year, on which Edwards also worked as a producer, also revealed her plans for Christmas: "I'm decorating the house and everyone is coming over," said the pop icon. "Maybe I'll dance, maybe I'll be stuck in the kitchen all evening slapping mashed potatoes on everyone's plates."
