When I cannot run, I will crawl. But I will not give up!", says Celine Dion in her new doc - and she is proving it now. Despite suffering from a rare neurological disease, Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), the singer is reportedly rehearsing secretly for a live music comeback in Las Vegas.

New rumors about the singer Celine Dion: The "US Sun" speculates that the artist is preparing for a live music comeback in Las Vegas. The 56-year-old is said to be rehearsing secretly for a limited series of 70-minute shows, with which she is supposed to return to the stage in the fall after a four-year hiatus from performing. If her health issues prevent the comeback, it could allegedly be postponed until next year.

Since her SPS diagnosis, a rare neurologic condition, in 2022, Celine Dion has largely withdrawn from public life. After a surprise appearance at the Grammy Awards in February 2024, she returned in June to present her Prime Documentary "I Am: Celine Dion."

Doc gives revealing insights

The film aims to give an "unfiltered and honest look behind the scenes of the legendary superstar's battle with a life-changing disease." The most heart-wrenching moment occurs at the end of the doc - in full length, a severe cramp attack of the 56-year-old is shown.

"During this absence (from the stage, Anm. d. Red.), I decided to document this part of my life and try to raise awareness for this little-known disease to help others who share this diagnosis," Dion said beforehand about her doc.

Celine Dion's hope of performing again was also expressed by herself. In the spring, the five-time Grammy winner announced in social media that she wanted "one day to be back on stage" and "to live as normal a life as possible." "It's not hard to make a show. It's hard to cancel one," she said in a trailer for her doc. "When I cannot run, I will crawl. But I will not give up!"

Despite her ongoing battle with Stiff Person Syndrome, Celine Dion's love for music and entertainment hasn't waned. Rehearsals for her secret live music comeback in Las Vegas are rumored to be underway, promising an exciting blend of illness and music for her fans.

In a recent documentary, Celine Dion shares her journey with Stiff Person Syndrome, providing a raw and emotional insight into her life. Her determination to return to the stage, despite her health challenges, is a testament to her resilience, proving that entertainment can indeed thrive in the face of adversity.
