Nearly a decade ago, Daniela Katzenberger (37) and Lucas Cordalis (57) proudly welcomed Sophia Cordalis into their lives, turning Iris Klein (57) into a delighted grandmother. On Tuesday, Sophia celebrates her 9th birthday. To celebrate this milestone, the entire family is enjoying a vacation at Disneyland Paris. Both Daniela Katzenberger and Iris Klein have been sharing their experiences of this special birthday trip on Instagram.
Daniela Katzenberger, set to return to television screens with her docu-soap on VOX from September 6, shared a reel on Monday to announce the trip: "This year, we're celebrating Sophia's 9th birthday in a remarkable way. Wow! Diving into another realm. We're off..." The video transitions straight from the airport to Disneyland. Fans can take a virtual tour of the renowned theme park through Katzenberger's Instagram story.
She showcases various aspects, such as the large number of tourists and adorable merchandise, including princess dresses, in the form of dolls. "You're never too old for princess stuff," Katzenberger remarks. This is followed by a photo in her story, presumably depicting Lucas Cordalis with newborn Sophia in the hospital nine years ago: "We nailed it, Dad. 9 years."
She also posted a picture of herself with Sophia, apparently taken immediately after birth, in a reel. Daniela Katzenberger captioned it: "My precious gem. Mommy adores you so much, happy 9th birthday." Meanwhile, Lucas Cordalis greeted with a recent photograph: "For my most precious gem in the world, happy birthday."
Grandma Iris Klein, who also joined the family in Paris and explored Disneyland, congratulated Sophia via Instagram and uploaded a joint photo with her granddaughter: "Happy Birthday, my wonderful granddaughter Sophia. Time flies by so quickly... 9 years are over. I wish you all the luck in the world, that all your wishes come true, and of course, health."
VOX also extended birthday wishes. Based on the Instagram post, it appears that Katzenberger's fans can expect to see some appearances by Sophia in the new episodes: "We wish you, dear Sophia, a happy 9th birthday. Indulge yourself and have a fantastic day. We're excited to see you on VOX from September 6 in the new 'Daniela Katzenberger' docu."
Daniela Katzenberger expressed her love for Sophia in a heartfelt Instagram post, saying, "My precious gem. Mommy adores you so much, happy 9th birthday." Later, Lucas Cordalis also expressed his love for Sophia by saying, "For my most precious gem in the world, happy birthday."
