Veronica Ferres turns 59 on Monday and receives more than just birthday wishes from her husband, Carsten Maschmeyer. The celebrity shares a heartfelt, personal message on Instagram.
"Dearest Veronica, today is the day when the most amazing person, the most caring mother, and the greatest partner I could ever imagine celebrates her birthday. That's you, my lioness," Carsten begins his heartwarming letter. He then lists the qualities he finds admirable in his spouse.
"I'm captivated by your humor, your kind nature, and your warmth. You work harder and longer than most people, but you never lose your determination. You always put your family first and have an open ear for everyone," Maschmeyer gushes.
The couple - who won an award for their film "Hole of the Lions" - have been together since 2009 and married in 2014. In that time, they've created a unique patchwork family with three children each from their previous relationships and treated them like bonuses.
