Campbell outshines them all
Even at 53, supermodel Naomi Campbell still knows how to land the perfect stitch. She poses almost nude for a new campaign by designer Alexander Wang - if it weren't for all those little details that give the photos a mysterious aura.
Naomi Campbell is far from being a has-been. But she certainly knows how to put iron in the right light. This is proven by a new campaign in which the 53-year-old supermodel poses for designer Alexander Wang.
In one of the photos, Campbell is actually completely naked, apart from her high heels. In other photos, she is at least wearing denim shorts and a handbag from the Alexander Wang brand.
However, what dresses her in all the photos, provides a certain privacy and gives Campbell's appearance a mysterious aura, are the many silver and pointed studs that are spread all over her body. She also wears an unusual mullet cut.
Campbell's fans are thrilled with the photos, as can be read in the comments column. "What a powerful photo. Really engaging," commented one follower. "She still beats everyone out there. The ultimate top model," enthuses another.
Famous friends also seem to be blown away by the snaps. "God, I love you. This is the best thing I've ever seen," writes Liz Hurley's son Damian. "Gorgeous," commented actress Hannah Waddingham in capital letters.
At the same time, however, the comments also criticize Campbell's collaboration with Alexander Wang. The reason: the designer was accused of sexual abuse by several models in 2020. Wang initially denied the allegations, but published a statement in March 2021 in which he apologized.
