Britney Spears' sister leaves jungle camp

It is eagerly awaited whether Britney Spears' sister will spill the beans about their strained relationship in the British jungle camp. Jamie Lynn does indeed say a few words about it. But there will be no more: The 32-year-old breaks off her stay.

Britney Spears' sister Jamie Lynn Spears recently caused a stir when she entered the British jungle camp. Now the singer and actress has pulled out of filming "I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!" early for health reasons.

"Jamie Lynn Spears has left 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' for medical reasons," reads a post on the official Instagram profile of the ITV show. It added: "She was a fantastic housemate who triumphed in trials and bonded well with the other celebrities." ITV is not providing any details about Spears' departure.

According to the US magazine "People", a spokesperson for the British broadcaster has confirmed that Spears has left the camp in Australia and will be seen one last time in tonight's November 29 edition. The other participants have been informed of Spears' departure.

"I'm absolutely terrified of everything," the very nervous Spears told the broadcaster before moving in. Like so many other celebrities who decide to take part in the jungle camp or similar reality formats, she wanted to show the world what she was really like as a person. Public perception was characterized by "literally every misunderstanding".

Positive words about Britney too

The relationship between the two sisters has been considered strained in recent years following a public dispute. However, in the British version of "I'm a Star - Get Me Out of Here!", Jamie Lynn said, among other things, that she had a "good big sister" who loved her.

But when it comes to a fight, it's a real fight. "The world has seen that," said the 32-year-old in conversation with a fellow contestant. She had "learned not to talk about it in public anymore". The sisters had grown up in "very complicated circumstances" and "both had to deal with it in different ways", she explained. According to her, they sometimes took this out on each other.

Britney Spears' sister Jamie Lynn's departure from the jungle camp has left a gap in the entertainment world. The anticipated discussion about their relationship seemed promising in the jungle camp setting, a stark contrast to their jungle camp entrance where tense sibling dynamics were already apparent.
