Brad Pitt again in Formula-1 pit - Boxengasse at the GP Hungary becomes a film set

Hollywood star Brad Pitt (60) has once again set foot in a boxing ring: For his new film, Pitt is filming at the Formula 1 track Hungaroring, northeast of Budapest, and was spotted in the driver's village.

Unlike usual, eleven Formula-1 teams are represented at the driver's village in Hungary, as reported by the "Daily Mail". However, "APX GP" is not a real Formula-1 team, but rather the fictional team from the upcoming "F1" motor racing film featuring Brad Pitt in the lead role.

Pitt and the film crew are allowed to move freely during the normal Formula-1 race operations for the shoot. Pitt even sits behind the wheel of a Formula-2 racing car modified for the film. Press representatives and members of other racing teams were asked to remain discreet to avoid disrupting the authentic filming.

In "F1," Pitt plays the role of Sonny Hayes, an aging driver who returns to Formula 1. He mentors Damson Idris (32), who portrays an up-and-coming racing driver. Javier Bardem (55) plays the team owner.
