Pop star - Billie Eilish confirms: I love women

American singer Billie Eilish (21) has confirmed her own statements that she loves women but didn't want to make a big deal out of her coming out. "I kind of thought: "Wasn't that obvious?", said Eilish ("Bad Guy") at an event organized by "Variety" magazine in Los Angeles.

"I had no idea that people didn't know," the singer added. "I just think, 'Why can't we just exist'? I've been doing this for some time and I just haven't talked about it. Whoops."

In the past, Eilish had also confirmed relationships with men; in May, her spokesperson announced her split from boyfriend Jesse Rutherford. These past relationships were not discussed on Saturday or in the interview with Variety.

With Saturday's statements, Eilish clarified sentences from the November issue of "Variety". In it, Eilish spoke about the public pressure she has felt since her first hit at the age of 13, and she talked about being repeatedly questioned about her sexuality.

She also said she suffered from the assumption that other women wouldn't like her. "I never felt like I could relate well to other girls. I love them so much," Eilish said. "I love them as people, I'm attracted to them as people. I'm really attracted to them."
