As per the United States President Joe Biden, Israel brought forth a detailed proposal during the discussions for a truce in Gaza. This proposed truce would comprise of a complete cessation of violence, a six-week withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, and the liberation of prisoners associated with Hamas, as per his statement on Friday at the White House. The President entreats the radical Islamic group Hamas to ratify this agreement.
