Biden queried if Trump took bleach injections.
America is currently in the midst of an election contest. President Biden has been speaking out against his competitor, Trump, and has been referencing some of his former themes from the coronavirus time frame. Biden expressed concern over whether Trump had truly injected himself with disinfectant.
During a recent speech at a non-profit event, US President Joe Biden made a comical remark about his forerunner, Donald Trump, and a controversial statement about disinfectants in the battle against the coronavirus. "I'll always remember how he lied about the pandemic and told the people to inject bleach into their bodies," Biden said. "I'm curious, did he do that? It would make a lot of sense." The 81-year-old Democrat managed to get a few chuckles from the crowd.
In spring 2020, when the pandemic was just beginning, former US President Trump used the words of a government official to spark his comments about disinfectants. A DHS worker had mentioned that bleach and disinfectants destroyed the coronavirus virus on dry surfaces, such as a doorknob.
Trump then mused about the potential of injecting individuals with disinfectants in the war against the coronavirus. "It's an intriguing concept," he stated in a press briefing at the time. "But, you know, it's something for the doctors to explore." Of course, he added, "but it's interesting to me". This remark was met with confusion around the world. Trump later claimed his disinfectant idea was simply a joke.
The upcoming presidential election in November is looking like a close battle between Biden and Trump. In his speech, Biden repeated his assessment of Trump as a "loser". The Democrat emphasized, "We're a country of sincerity, kindness, faith, and fairness." Biden has frequently criticized Trump publicly and expressed concern that the 77-year-old poses a risk to democracy.
