Beyoncé provided Kamala Harris with concert tickets, as per a financial disclosure report.
Each year, the president and vice president must divulge their financial details. These reports reveal no noticeable changes in income sources for either Harris or President Biden.
In a social media post back in August 2023, Harris shared that she and the second gentleman attended a performance by pop star Beyonce, mentioning, "Thanks for a fun date night, @Beyonce!" Tickets to the event, estimated at $1,655.92, were listed in her disclosure report.
Additionally, Harris received free tickets from ESPN for the December 2023 Cricket Celebration Bowl game in Atlanta, valued at $1,890, according to the report. The football game featured Harris's alma mater, Howard University, losing against Florida A&M University. Harris made a speech during the broadcast to discuss her time as a student at Howard.
Harris also earned $234.13 in royalties for her book "The Truths We Hold" and $8,254 in royalties for "Superheroes Are Everywhere," her children's book, both published in 2019.
In his report, President Biden disclosed no gifts. However, he did mention several accounts that generated income between $15,001 and $50,000. The President listed a mortgage on the liabilities section of his report with an interest rate of 3.375% and dated back to 2013, which was obtained from TD Bank.
The vice president, like the president, also listed a mortgage but with a value between $1,000,001 - $5,000,000 and an interest rate of 2.625%, taken in 2020.
First lady Jill Biden reported receiving a salary from Northern Virginia Community College, where she has been teaching since 2009, but no specific sum was disclosed.
The second gentleman, Doug Emhoff, earned a salary from Georgetown University, yet the exact amount was not mentioned. His report also indicated different bond purchases and sales from 2023.
The releases provide a glimpse into the financial lives of the president, vice president, and their families.
