Beyonce discusses prioritizing her tranquility and provides rationales behind the absence of 'Cowboy Carter' and 'Renaissance' visual accompaniments.

The popular figure graces the cover of GQ's October issue, starring in an article titled, "The Entrepreneurship of Beyoncé Knowles-Carter." Beyoncé is expanding her kingdom of music, fashion, and haircare products with a whiskey named after her grandpaw, SirDavis.

She's also reflecting on her life and career.

Releasing her number eight album, "Act II: Cowboy Carter" this year, Beyoncé spoke to the publication, "I'm proud of what I've accomplished, but I acknowledge the sacrifices - mine and my family's. There was a time I pushed myself to meet impossible deadlines, lacking time to enjoy the rewards of my hard work. In the '90s, we weren't taught to prioritize mental health. I didn't really have any boundaries and agreed to everything. But I've paid my dues more than enough."

Originally hesitant about her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, joining her onstage during the Renaissance tour, the doting mom explained, "Blue has a talent for music and fashion. She's a brilliant editor, painter, and actress. She's created characters since she was three. She's a star in the making, but I initially didn't want her onstage. Blue wanted it for herself, she took it seriously, and she earned it. Most importantly, she had a blast! We all watched her grow every night before our eyes."

With a career spanning three decades, Beyoncé knows the challenges of the music industry, especially for young ladies. She had kind words for some up-and-coming artists continuing her legacy.

"I admire and respect the female singers-songwriters making waves today... Raye, Victoria Monet, Sasha Keable, Chloe x Halle, and Reneé Rapp. I love Doechii and GloRilla, and I just heard of That Mexican OT, he's from Houston... He's dynamic! I like Sabrina Carpenter's ‘Please Please Please,' and I think Thee Sacred Souls and Chappell Roan are talented and intriguing," she shared.

Yet, she's got love for the classics, mentioning iconic artists like "Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Stax label musicians."

Beyoncé ascended to legend status, in part, by trusting her intuition. She confessed to GQ that this was the reason she resisted requests for music videos for "Cowboy Carter" and "Renaissance."

"I believed it was crucial, given the visual overload, for the world to focus on the voice. The music itself is enough. Fans from around the globe became the visual. We all experienced the visual on tour."

Queen Bey's charisma allows us to become the visuals we seek. Until then, "The Entrepreneurship of Beyoncé" seems prosperous.

"I walked away from the pop star formula years ago," she said. "I stopped chasing what's trendy and started focusing on qualities that improve with time and experience. Great music and powerful messages will never go out of style."

Beyoncé's empire extends beyond music and fashion, offering entertainment through various outlets. Despite her busy schedule, she enjoys watching her daughter, Blue Ivy, perform, enjoying the fruits of their shared talent.

Fans appreciate Beyoncé's distinctive approach to music, often opting for a focus on voice over visual overload, providing a unique entertainment experience.
