Until 2022, he wore the chaotic Ole Peters character, aka "Ole without Coal," for a total of eleven years and became a fan favorite. His partner recently announced that the actor unexpectedly passed away at the age of 39.
"Unfortunately, our dearest soulmate has suddenly left us," she wrote on July 2, 2022, alongside a photo of her friend on their shared TikTok account. With the announcement, she aimed to quell circulating rumors and appealed to the fans of the deceased not to speculate further. "It's all bad enough, and we can't handle it all yet," it continues.
Falko Ochsenknecht also performed at Ballermann
A friend of Falko Ochsenknecht confirmed his death through RTL. "He died of heart failure. He was found dead in his Berlin apartment on Monday by his cleaning lady and the police," he reports. At the request of the broadcaster, the Berlin Police also commented: "There was an incident on Monday due to a suspected accident. We found a lifeless person in the apartment. The death investigation is ongoing," a spokesperson said.
Falko Ochsenknecht played one of the main characters, Ole Peters, in "Berlin - Tag & Nacht" from 2011 to 2018 and from 2020 to 2022. Two years ago, he stepped back from the series to have more free time. Under the pseudonym "Ole without Coal," the native of Lüdenesch also released successful party songs and performed at Ballermann. In 2021, he was part of the dating show "Adam sucht Eva - Stranded in Paradise."
