The distribution, as told by Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib on Bel RTL radio program, will allegedly begin at the end of this year. Nevertheless, the figures are frequently ambiguous, or there has been no concrete data. To date, approximately 60 fighter jets are being discussed to arrive in Ukraine.

The Dutch Defense Department disclosed their plan to give away at least 24 planes. In the past, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke of approximately 48 and 19 from Denmark. There are likewise F-16s expected from Norway. If everything goes ideally, Kiev could anticipate over 100 fighter jets in total - but it will take more time.

"The deal includes 977 million Euros from Belgium for Ukrainian military assistance this year, along with Belgium's endorsement to support our country through the following ten-year span," Selenskyj noted on his Telegram platform.

Aside from the F-16 fighter jets, the agreement consists of "modern armored automobiles, equipment for the Ukrainian air force and air defense, ammunition, landmine-clearing assistance, and soldier training."
