Authorities locate missing 10-year-old child in North Rhine-Westphalia

A young girl aged 10, who went missing from Brakel in East Westphalia, has been located safely in Fritzlar, Hesse. The authorities shared this news last night.

The recent disappearance of the 10-year-old girl, who didn't turn up at home after her school in Brakel, prompted a search operation from the police and the fire department. Members of both forces, along with a sniffer dog, were involved in the mission to find the girl.

The girl was found back in her home by the evening and authorities have called off the public search. The police recently released her photo on their NRW police search portal.

At this moment, they're unable to share any more information about the incident.
