Carrie Bradshaw - Auction house offers cult outfit

Carrie Bradshaw's famous tutu from the series "Sex and the City" will be auctioned in January. The garment worn by actress Sarah Jessica Parker (58) is currently estimated at 8,000 to 12,000 US dollars (around 7,400 to 11,000 euros), as can be seen at Julien's Auctions. The tutu is familiar to fans from the opening credits of the American HBO series. Costume designer Patricia Field (82) allegedly bought the oyster-white, three-layered garment for five dollars when she was looking for clothes for "Sex and the City" in New York. It is now one of the most iconic items of clothing from the globally popular series.

Dresses from Kim Kardashian, Princess Diana and Audrey Hepburn

The auction house Julien's Auctions also offers various outfits from famous personalities for sale. The list includes celebrated pieces from stars such as Kim Kardashian (43), Cher (77) and Paris Hilton (42) as well as dresses from legends Elizabeth Taylor (1932-2011), Princess Diana (1961-1997), Audrey Hepburn (1929-1993) and Grace Kelly (1929-1982). Most of the garments are estimated at up to 10,000 US dollars, with the exception of the green Givenchy ensemble worn by Grace Kelly, consisting of a dress and bolero (60,000 to 80,000 US dollars) and the black and white cocktail dress by Catherine Walker, which Princess Diana once wore to a private event (100,000 to 200,000 US dollars).

According to the Daily Mail, fans of reality star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian can also look forward to a variety of outfits that will apparently soon be up for auction. These include a knee-length, lightweight wool coat by Chloé (estimated value: 800 to 1,200 US dollars), which Kardashian wore during Paris Fashion Week 2014, or a purple fashion scarf by A.W.A.K.E., which was seen in a 2014 episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and has the same estimated value as the wool coat.
