At least 13 people hurt in assaults of Belgorod.

The Ukrainian military is reportedly attacking targets in Belgorod, causing casualties. Belgorod's governor mentioned that three children and teenagers were among the wounded. Some residential buildings were damaged. The attacks are not limited to this area, as multiple parts of Russia are experiencing massive attacks.

As per official reports, at least 13 people were injured due to Ukrainian artillery fire in the southern Russian region of Belgorod. State agency Tass revealed that Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov mentioned the incident. Some buildings in the villages of Shebekino and Rzhevka experienced damages from the fire caused by multiple rocket launchers.

These regions have been frequently targeted by Ukraine. Recently, the Russian military launched a limited offensive towards the north-eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv to stop any further attacks. As per Vladimir Putin, Russian troops aim to create a buffer zone.

Furthermore, Ukrainian armed forces have launched multiple drone attacks on Russian territory. Tass mentioned that over a hundred drones were intercepted and destroyed. An oil refinery in Krasnodar Oblast, located on the Black Sea, was also hit.

Oil refinery halted after drone strike

Russian authorities claimed that the operation of an oil refinery in Southern Russia was stopped due to a Ukrainian drone strike. Regional official Roman Zinyagovsky wrote on Telegram, "Six drones fell on the territory of the refinery in Sluviansk-na-Kubani during the night." Later, the head of security at the refinery, Eduard Trutnev, told Interfax, "The plant is currently shut down. We are assessing the damage." The Krasnodar region refinery is one of the largest in South Russia.

Ukrainian intelligence reports suggested that the target of the attack on Sunday night was a military airfield. An insider said, "This is the second attack with SBU drones on the Kushchevska military airfield and the Slavyansk refinery in the past three weeks." With more than a hundred military aircraft stationed at the airfield, six drones hammered the site's oil refinery in the city of Slavyansk, according to Russian authorities. According to Interfax, the refinery initially ceased its operations but did not experience fire. The ministry had previously said that Ukraine attacked the annexed Crimean peninsula with nine ATACMS missiles and Russian regions with at least sixty drones.
