- Arrested on return to England

Last week, it was revealed that a warrant had been issued for the arrest of Katie Price (46) in London. The English model, who had previously been declared bankrupt twice, failed to appear for a court hearing on July 30th related to her bankruptcies. Now, the British "Daily Mail" reports that Price was arrested at London's Heathrow Airport. She had previously traveled to Turkey for a cosmetic procedure.

Tax debts of 900,000 Euros

The "Daily Mail" has obtained images of Price in police custody. In the photos, she is seen with her head bandaged, likely due to the cosmetic surgery, sitting in a police vehicle. The London Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest to the British newspaper. Price was taken into custody and is due to appear in court tomorrow.

At the previous court hearing, lawyer Darragh Connell, who represents the trustee in the insolvency proceedings, stated that Price would not be serving a long sentence if arrested. The only aim was to ensure her attendance at a future hearing in the insolvency proceedings.

The model, who is also active on the adult website OnlyFans, was previously ordered in a separate legal dispute over unpaid bills to hand over 40% of her OnlyFans earnings to creditors for the next three years. According to the BBC, Price had already expressed in October last year that she was "tired" of receiving legal threats and would rather go to prison to "get it over with".

Her second bankruptcy, from March of this year, is linked to tax debts of over 900,000 Euros.

The "Daily Mail"'s report about Katie Price's arrest mentions that The Commission, presumably referring to the London Metropolitan Police, confirmed the arrest at Heathrow Airport. During her court hearing later that day, it was mentioned by lawyer Darragh Connell that if Price was arrested, she would not serve a lengthy sentence, with the primary goal being to ensure her attendance at future insolvency proceedings hearings.
