"Endgame" - Are the royals considering a lawsuit?

The British royals are apparently considering taking legal action against new allegations made in a version of Omid Scobie's (42) tell-all book "Endgame". This was reported by the BBC, citing the palace.

The sale of the book was recently stopped in the Netherlands. The translated version is said to have contained the names of two family members allegedly involved in allegations first made by Prince Harry (39) and Duchess Meghan (42) in 2021. At the time, the Sussexes had spoken in an interview with Oprah Winfrey (69) about a member of the royal family allegedly expressing concerns about the color of their son Archie (4)'s skin before he was born. They did not give a name at the time.

"We are looking at all options"

Controversial British presenter Piers Morgan (58) recently spoke about the matter on TV and, referring to the"Endgame" translation, mentioned the names of the family members allegedly involved. When asked whether the royals were planning to take legal action against Morgan, a palace spokesman said: "We are considering all options."

Author Scobie, who is considered a confidant of Meghan and Harry, explained in an interview with BBC Two's Newsnight that he himself first learned of the incident via social media. A "full investigation" is currently underway. The original English-language version - the only one he knows and has released - does not contain any names.

In addition to the above allegation, "Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy's Fight for Survival" also deals with an alleged power struggle between King Charles III (75) and his son William (41), as well as the allegedly cool relationship between William's wife Kate (41) and Meghan.
