Anna-Carina Woitschack is garnering some negative sentiment or unfavorable opinions.

Many individuals, including Anna-Carina Woitschack, could lament about harsh remarks online. However, Woitschack decided not to let a particularly harsh comment go unanswered. She took the initiative and simply phoned the individual responsible. This revelation came from an interview the singer gave to the radio station "Schlagerliebe."

In her Facebook feed, Woitschack stumbled upon a comment from a woman that was "truly vicious" and "below the belt." The woman had written demeaning comments such as "Nobody needs you" and that Woitschack's music would give her "ear cancer."

After conducting some online research, Woitschack managed to obtain the hater's phone number. Intrigued, she thought, "Why not give her a call? I've always wanted to do that."

"Just imagine..."

She indeed made that call. On the first attempt, she reached the woman's husband who verified the number. On the second try, she got the hater on the line.

Woitschack began the conversation with, "Hello, I'm the leader of Anna-Carina Woitschack's fan club, and I wanted to ask what led you to hate Ms. Woitschack so much that you'd wish ear cancer upon her, and find her music repulsive. I saw on your profile that you're a mother and a grandmother. Imagine if someone wrote that to your daughter, granddaughter, or grandchild publicly on the internet."

"Just a person"

"The woman was taken aback," Woitschack described. Then, she revealed her true identity, leaving the woman speechless. "She apologized profusely," Woitschack added. Woitschack didn't back down only asking, "Do you know me personally? Have you ever heard of me or seen me anywhere?" When the woman admitted she hadn't, Woitschack probed, "Why did you write that then? 'Because my friends did too.'"

Woitschack felt sympathetic towards the woman's response, "If that's your reasoning, I pity you. I wish you well and lots of energy." The woman, now uncomfortable, invited Woitschack for coffee. Woitschack diplomatically declined, instead, leaving the hater with some food for thought, "I just wish you'd remember next time that I'm just a person too, even if it's just a photo. You can't hide behind anonymity on the internet."

In conclusion, Woitschack shared, the woman eventually agreed, "You're absolutely right." Perhaps, she did make a difference with just one phone call.

Following her heartfelt conversation with the woman, Woitschack decided to extend her approach to social networks. She started responding to negative comments with empathy and understanding, often turning them into opportunities for dialogue.

Inspired by her interaction, Woitschack encouraged her followers to do the same. She advocated for using social networks as platforms for dialogue, reminding everyone, "Remember, behind every username, there's a person just like you."
