Anna-Carina Woitschack enjoys the naked moment

For 13 years, Anna-Carina Woitschack has been baring her soul through her music, as she puts it. But it's only now, in the September issue of German 'Playboy', that the singer, former 'Traitor', and ex of Stefan Mross is truly laying it all bare.

Anna-Carina Woitschack has had her own career for quite some time now. After all, she's been in the music business since her appearance on 'Germany's Got Talent' in 2011, which ended with her placing eighth in the RTL show. She also made headlines with her participation in RTL's new format 'The Traitors - Trust No One!' last year, which she won alongside her Schlager colleague Vincent Gross.

However, it was likely her relationship with another colleague that brought her the most attention. Her marriage to Stefan Mross, which she had entered into two years earlier, ended in 2022. The divorce process turned into an ugly custody battle that is still ongoing.

Nevertheless, Woitschack believes that now is the perfect time to show a completely different side of herself. Where? In 'Playboy', of course. And how? Naturally, naked. She has decided to forge new paths and "do everything I feel like doing," she explains in an interview for the magazine's September issue.

"Never a mistake, always a lesson. For me, everything that fulfills me and that I can stand behind 100% is right," the 31-year-old says, summing up her new approach to life. "I was long influenced by external expectations and afraid to make a mistake," she explains. But now, she says, she understands that "there is no such thing as wrong."

She looks forward more to tomorrow than to yesterday.

Of course, she doesn't have to justify her 'Playboy' shoot. After all, it doesn't feel like an extraordinary step to her. "Maybe you're seeing me naked for the first time in these pictures, but I've been baring my soul with my music for 13 years. Standing on stage is also a form of nudity for me," she explains. And she adds: "The 'Playboy' pictures underscore what I want to say with my music: Enjoy the moment and live your life now - the way you want to. Because there's no right time. There's only the one that feels right."

How Stefan Mross feels about seeing his ex naked in a men's magazine, we don't know. But both of them are certainly used to putting their private lives in the public eye. After all, they both celebrated their engagement and wedding on TV. At least Woitschack doesn't regret it to this day. "A great experience that I stood behind 100% at the time and that no one can take away from me," she recalls in the 'Playboy' interview. But she also adds: "But I prefer to look to the future, not the past, and it's okay that this relationship is in the past."

Looking ahead, the singer is releasing a new album on August 16, which is sure to feature familiar sounds. After all, Woitschack explains: "I love the people who listen to Schlager. They're such loyal souls, the fans are unshakable. And it's simply a captivating music genre that brings generations together. People of all ages celebrate to Schlager."

Woitschack's "Playboy" deployment shouldn't be celebrated quite as generationally transcending. Seniors can certainly enjoy it, but otherwise: Please, only from 18!

Woitschack also graces the cover of the German 'Playboy' in September.

Anna-Carina Woitschack has shared her emotions deeply through music for 13 years. Furthermore, she expresses her feelings musically by standing on stage, stating that it's a form of nudity for her.
