Angelina Jolie asks Brad Pitt for peace

For three years, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been arguing in court over their vineyard in Southern France. But Angelina no longer wants to participate. Her ex-husband allegedly wants to "punish and control" her, according to her lawyer.

Angelina Jolie is tired of the wine feud with Brad Pitt and is asking her ex-husband to "put an end to it." The actors are still arguing over the vineyard, in which they were equally involved until 2021. According to Angelina's lawyer Paul Murphy, Pitt has had full control over all their shared properties and their proceeds for a long time. "But he still demands more and has sued Angelina for 67 million dollars plus punitive damages," Murphy stated.

Pitt's goal with the lawsuit, according to his lawyer, is to "punish and control" Angelina. She, on the other hand, longs for peace and is only forced to act: "While Angelina continues to ask Mr. Pitt to end the dispute and bring their family finally on a clear path to healing, she has no other choice but to gather the necessary evidence to refute his allegations."

The dispute over the vineyard has been going on for several years. According to reports, Angelina Jolie sold her shares in her vineyard in Southern France to a Russian billionaire in 2021 without Pitt's consent, resulting in his lawsuit. The sale was said to be in violation of the agreement that he could buy her shares.

From Angelina Jolie's perspective, the story appears differently: Pitt rejected her shares, she refused to sign a comprehensive nondisclosure agreement. She reportedly demanded 250 million in damages in return.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were a couple since 2005, they married on their vineyard in 2014. Two years later, Jolie filed for divorce. Since then, an bitter feud has been raging, during which Pitt is said to have lost contact with some of their six children and some have even changed their surname.

Brad Pitt's ongoing legal battle with Angelina Jolie has been a major topic in Hollywood entertainment news. Despite the divorce, their dispute over the vineyard in Southern France has been a complex process, involving court proceedings for several years. Pitt's lawyer has alleged that he wants to "punish and control" Jolie, which Jolie's lawyer has refuted.
