Amal and George Clooney had plenty to celebrate in Venice: Beyond showcasing his latest film, "The Tender Bar," the Hollywood superstar was also commemorating his 10th wedding anniversary with his spouse, Amal. On the red carpet, the couple exuded radiance.
The power duo made their grand entrance at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday night for George's film premiere, dressed to impress. The acclaimed actor donned a classic black suit, complete with a matching bow tie and sleek shoes.
On the other hand, Amal, renowned human rights lawyer, turned heads in a vibrant, trendy yellow dress. The stunning floor-length gown, featuring a fitted bodice and a voluminous, ruffled skirt, was adorned with plenty of lace. She accessorized with glamorous teardrop earrings and carried a sparkling clutch bag.
Together, the couple posed on the red carpet with George's "The Tender Bar" co-star, Brad Pitt, with whom he previously collaborated in films such as "Ocean's" trilogy, "Burn After Reading," and "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind." Pitt's girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, was also in attendance. As per People magazine, the group hit the red carpet after a shared dinner at Ristorante Da Ivo in Venice.
Personal Venetian Connections
Beyond the film, the Clooneys have their own reasons to celebrate their time in Venice. The proud parents of twins, born in 2017, will be celebrating their 10th marriage anniversary on September 27. Amal stunned in a custom French lace bridal gown by Oscar de la Renta as she walked down the aisle in the Italian city's famed waterways.
Venice has held special significance for the Clooneys even before their wedding. In 2017, they made their first public appearance together in the city since the birth of their children, Alexander and Ella, at the "Suburbicon" premiere. More recently, the couple attended the annual DVF Awards in August 2023, with Amal receiving the DVF Leadership Award from designer Diane von Fürstenberg.
