Alt-Right German Party Bans Top EU Candidate Krah's Attire

Approximately two weeks before the European elections, the AfD's top leadership is distancing itself from their main candidate, Maximilian Krah. A party representative has revealed that Krah is prohibited from attending any party events.

The AfD has issued an appearance ban on their contentious European lead candidate, Maximilian Krah. This restriction applies to all AfD election campaign events and additional federal functions, the party spokesperson said after a conference call of the federal executive team. According to ntv's sources, Krah is also relinquishing his spot on the AfD's federal executive committee.

The reason behind this move is the announcement by the French Rassemblement National to end their partnership with the AfD in the EU Parliament. Krah has faced controversy over potential ties to pro-Russian networks and potential financial contributions, as well as alleged SS statements.

"I acknowledge the fact that factual and balanced statements made by me have been manipulated to harm our party," Krah told ntv. "We don't need any argument about me right now." It's crucial that the AfD remains united. "Therefore, I will refrain from participating in any more election campaign activities with immediate effect, and I will step down from my position in the federal executive committee," concluded Krah, who has been disgraced within the AfD.
