Following concert cancellations in Austria due to terror threats, US musician Taylor Swift is set to resume her tour in London. Five concerts are planned at Wembley Stadium. The 34-year-old is expected to take the stage tonight for the first time since the cancellations, having previously performed several concerts in June.

Last week, three of Swift's shows in Vienna were cancelled after Austrian authorities suspected Islamists of planning a terror attack. The 19-year-old main suspect has since denied the allegations, and two other young men remain in custody.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has reassured fans that the police have experience handling such large events and are working closely with investigators. "We're delighted to welcome Taylor Swift back," Khan told Sky News.

Police have stated that there's no evidence to suggest that the Austrian investigations will impact upcoming events in London. Swift is scheduled to perform five concerts in the coming days.

Today's concert is set to begin in the afternoon, with the show starting around 6 PM (CET). The main concert is scheduled to begin at 8:15 PM (CET), according to ticket portals.

Last week, Austrian police uncovered plans for a suspected Islamist attack just before a concert in Vienna, leading to the cancellation of three shows. Swift has not yet commented on the threat.

Since then, five individuals have been identified by Austrian intelligence as being part of the circle of observed threats. These individuals were set to work in the facility and catering areas at the concerts, according to Austrian Interior Minister Gerhard Karner.

Despite the concert cancellation in Vienna, Swift's fans, known as "Swifties," gathered on the streets to celebrate, singing her songs, exchanging bracelets, and taking selfies. Similar celebrations have also taken place in London ahead of her return.

A few weeks ago, the Royal Marines Band also paid tribute to Swift by playing a version of her hit "Shake It Off" during the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. The official royal family Twitter account even posted a video of the performance.

Swift, known for hits like "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart" and "Lavender Haze," has also performed several concerts in Germany as part of her "Eras Tour." Her final concert in London is scheduled for Tuesday, after which she will continue her tour in Canada in November.
