After initial drawback from Disney, the release date for Jonathan Majors' movie 'Magazine Dreams' has been confirmed.

Briarcliff Movies' CEO Tom Ortenberg shared with CNN on a Wednesday conference that the organization has secured the home cinema distribution rights for a movie scheduled for theater release early 2025.

Majors, recognized for his roles in "Creed III" and Disney's "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" as well as the Disney+ show "Loki," plays an aspiring bodybuilder in "Magazine," alongside Haley Bennett.

In a statement, Ortenberg said: "‘Magazine Dreams’ delivers a raw emotional experience, shattering stereotypes around ambition and self-identity. Jonathan Majors' portrayal of Killian Maddox is set to leave an indelible mark as one of the most impactful and transformative performances in modern cinema."

Briarcliff Movies is also responsible for distributing "The Trainee," a film chronicling Donald Trump's real estate ventures in New York during the 1980s. The star-studded cast includes Sebastian Stan as Trump, "Succession" actor Jeremy Strong as Roy Cohn, and "Borat 2" nominee Maria Bakalova as Ivana Trump.

"Magazine Dreams" was initially purchased by Searchlight following its praise at the Sundance Film Festival. Its release date was set for December, but was later scrapped days before Majors' trial.

A New York jury found Majors guilty of assault and harassment against his former girlfriend during a domestic dispute in December. He was convicted of third-degree reckless assault and a non-criminal violation of harassment.

Majors, who originally pleaded not guilty on all charges, was found not guilty on one count of assault and one count of aggravated harassment. He was spared jail time, ordered instead to complete a 52-week mandatory in-person domestic violence prevention program.

Initially, Majors was set to reprise his Marvel character, with "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" and "Avengers: Secret Wars" as titles. However, Marvel announced in July that "Kang Dynasty" was replaced by "Avengers: Doomsday," featuring Robert Downey Jr.'s return to the MCU.

CNN reporter Dan Heching contributed to this report.

The film "Magazine Dreams," with its powerful performance by Jonathan Majors, is set to make a significant impact in the world of entertainment. Briarcliff Movies, known for its wide distribution network, will bring this movie to audiences worldwide.
