The Eras Tour - After a long wait: Swift-Tickets still at the evening cashier
The rapid sell-out of Taylor Swift's Germany concerts made headlines last year - yet some fans managed to get tickets at the last minute. On the stadium grounds in Gelsenkirchen, there was still a ticket booth with an evening cashier before the opening concert on a Wednesday, as reported by a dpa reporter.
According to dpa information, there were still a few digits worth of tickets available for the concert. Why they appeared there and if the same applies to Swift's other concerts in Germany is unclear. Several "Swifties" reported on a Wednesday that they had received tickets at the last minute through Eventim's fan sale. In Swift fan groups on Facebook, tickets were even offered or traded - for health reasons, among other things.
The pre-sale for Swift's concerts in Germany started about a year ago. After two more concerts in Gelsenkirchen today and on Friday, the 34-year-old will perform in Hamburg (23. and 24. July) and Munich (27. and 28. July).
