- Affirms Their Unwavering Affection Again
Actress Nina Kunzendorf (52, known for "Charité") and her co-star Samuel Finzi (58, from "Allmen and the Secret of the Koi") are an item - and have been for some time now. The Bulgarian-born artist confirmed this to tabloid "Bild". "Nothin' new here. We've been together for three years," he reportedly said. And indeed, they've been turning heads at events like film premieres since 2022.
Their romantic journey started on the set of "Das Haus der Träume"
The critically acclaimed Kunzendorf and Finzi grew closer during the filming of the historical drama series "Das Haus der Träume" (2022, RTL+). "Let's just say: stuff happened. But it went down there, that's for sure," he chuckles, and adds: "And it's pretty cool to see that love ain't just for the young."
The two, who call Berlin home, have kids from past relationships.
Recognizable faces in the industry
Samuel Finzi will be on "Allmen and the Secret of the Koi" (20:15, Das Erste) this coming Saturday (24th August), the latest installment in the crime series.
And Nina Kunzendorf is set to reappear in "Tatort". As announced by MDR in a press release, filming for a new Dresden "Tatort" titled "Sisterly Love" started in early April. Apart from the detective duo Cornelia Gröschel (36) as Leonie Winkler and Martin Brambach (56) as Peter Michael Schnabel, former "Tatort" commissioner Nina Kunzendorf will also make an appearance in another role.
Kunzendorf took over the Frankfurt detective duo role from Andrea Sawatzki (61) and Jörg Schüttauf (62) at Hessian Broadcasting Corporation with Joachim Król (67) in 2011. She left the role voluntarily after five "Tatort" episodes in 2012.
The "Sisterly Love" episode is set to air in early 2026.
Their shared on-screen chemistry during "Das Haus der Träume" led to a deep connection, and now, Samuel often finds himself saying, "I love you" to Nina, cherishing the unexpected turn their romance has taken. After years of experiencing love and heartbreak separately, they've found continuity in each other, proving that love knows no age limits.
Amidst the bustle of their successful careers, they often find themselves reminiscing about their love story's inception, which started back on the set of "Das Haus der Träume."
