Adele will take a long pause - last concerts in Europe
**Las Vegas and Munich - these are currently the last locations where fans can hear singer Adele perform live for an Indefinite period. The British artist intends to take a "big break". She has done so before.
Since November 2022, music icon Adele has performed almost every weekend in Las Vegas, and will continue to do so until the end of November this year. In August, the singer also plays ten concerts in Munich - her only ones in Europe. Quite an exhausting schedule, even for a superstar like Adele. No wonder she needs a break, as she revealed to ZDF in an interview.
As BBC reported before her mini-residency in Munich's Bavarian state capital, she intends to take a "big break" after her currently planned concerts. "My memory bank is quite empty right now", she said. She will never give up singing and songwriting, but there are currently "no plans for new music". She wants to explore other creative projects.
Being there for her fans and connecting with them is beautiful and challenging for Adele at the same time. "I miss everything from the times when I wasn't famous yet", says the singer in the ZDF interview. "What I miss most is anonymity. I don't like being famous."
Last 20 Concerts before the Break
Adele had withdrawn from the public eye several years ago. After 121 concerts in 2016 and 2017, her world tour had to be cancelled due to vocal cord problems. It wasn't until October 2021 - six years after her third studio album "25" - that Adele released new music again with the album "30".
Before Adele disappears completely from the limelight again, her fans have a lot to look forward to: From August 2 to 31, the singer performs a total of ten times in a pop-up stadium specially built for her in Munich's Messe Riem. Each evening, around 80,000 fans are expected to fit into the arena. Starting in October, it's back to Las Vegas for the singer, where she performs until the end of November. Her residency at Caesars Palace began in November 2022, but she had to cancel some concerts due to health issues.
Following her ten concerts in Munich, Adele will take a break from live performances, focusing on exploring other creative projects. Despite this break, Pop music enthusiasts can still catch her performing in Las Vegas until the end of November.
Before her departure from the entertainment scene for an indefinite period, Adele will captivate audiences with her last 20 concerts, including ten performances in Munich and several shows in Las Vegas.
