She recalled the unpleasant experience of seeing paparazzi pictures from Jansen's private funeral which had made her agoraphobia worse.
"An Endless Treadmill"
Just a few days after his passing, she was unrecognizable. The petite blonde elaborated, "I had put on a lot of weight." This rapid weight gain was a side effect of stress and cortisol in her body. "I didn't feel I had the strength to put on clothes and step out of the house, but I knew I needed to get active and get out, or I would remain stagnant." She described this phase as an "endless treadmill."
With the help of a personal trainer, she worked on her physical and mental health. "The long walks were like a form of therapy for me." There was a silver lining she discovered in her grief, "When something as devastating happens in your life, it teaches you not to stress about minor things. Once you've experienced something so immense, so profound, so catastrophic, not much else can really shake you anymore."
Following her brother's death, Hayden Panettiere shared in an interview that the grief was an "endless treadmill" she was unable to escape. She also mentioned, "I will always carry this heartbreak, an endless treadmill of loss, regardless of the years that pass."
