Snoop Dogg has another Olympic job

August, but he will also work as an Olympic commentator for the US broadcaster NBC. For NBC and Peacock's primetime show reporting, the musician will be present on-site regularly.

"I grew up watching the Olympic Games and am excited that the incredible athletes will give their best in Paris. It's a celebration of ability, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness," Snoop Dogg said in a statement about his TV job. He added: "We'll have some fantastic competitions, and of course, I'll bring the Snoop Style to the event. These will be the most epic Olympic Games ever, so stay tuned and keep your eyes open. Let's make these Games unforgettable, heat up the competition, and make the best performers gold," the musician is quoted as saying.

Molly Solomon from NBC also commented on this, stating: "Snoop is already an Olympic gold medal commentator who reached over ten million viewers with his commentary on the highlights of the dressage event on Peacock during the Olympics in Tokyo."

Snoop Dogg's connection to the Olympic Games extends beyond Paris, as he hails from the Los Angeles area, the city set to host the 2028 Summer Olympics.
