Thomas Gottschalk celebrated his greatest successes with "Wetten, dass...? The ZDF show was his calling card between 1987 and 2011. 15 million viewers were not uncommon.

According to the broadcaster, the cult presenter hosted the Saturday evening show more than 150 times. In comparison: "Wetten, dass...?" creator Frank Elstner presented the show 39 times. Wolfgang Lippert made 9 appearances and Markus Lanz hosted the show 14 times.

According to ZDF, one of the most frequent show acts on stage was musician Peter Maffay, who made 17 appearances. Udo Jürgens and Herbert Grönemeyer each made 15 appearances - followed by British pop star Robbie Williams in third place, who took a seat on the famous sofa 10 times and is already considered a cult show legend.

The candidates have placed more than 1000 bets so far. Glasses (10,077), candles (8432) and eggs (898) were mainly used. According to ZDF, cars played the leading role in 69 bets. In 40 bets, it was diggers or similar vehicles. Actress Iris Berben was the most frequent bettor. She placed a betting tip 10 times.
