Chris Brown - 50-million-dollar-lawsuit against the musician
Chris Brown (35) and several members of his team have reportedly been sued for a large sum of millions. According to "Billboard", this is allegedly about an incident of assault that occurred after Brown's concert during his "11:11 Tour" in Fort Worth, Texas, on the Friday evening (19. July).
In the complaint filed at the Harris County District Court on Monday (22. July), according to reports from "TMZ", it is claimed that Chris Brown and other members of his crew allegedly brutally and severely beat up four men behind the stage. The men were reportedly invited to the backstage area.
Kicks and Punches?
"The violence consisted of Chris Brown and his entourage surrounding the security guards, throwing chairs at them, and repeatedly kicking and punching them," the complaint states, according to reports. "The unprovoked violence included several punches to the head and chest of the security guards." Additionally, it is stated in the complaint: "The brutal, violent attack, in which Brown participated and led, severely injured all the security guards."
All four men were reportedly taken to the hospital after the attack, one of whom, according to the complaint, was admitted to the hospital and underwent extensive medical treatment for head injuries. According to "Billboard", the security guards are demanding damages "in excess of 50 million dollars".
In the complaint, it appears that Chris Brown's past run-ins with the law are also mentioned, including his plea deal in 2009 for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna (36). He was sentenced to five years probation and community labor. He also had to participate in an anti-aggression program.
