Governor of Kharkiv region, Oleh Synyehubov, informed that over the past two days, about 4000 people have been evacuated from different settlements due to the escalating threat caused by Russian offensive. He added that most who left have found accommodation with their family and friends.

Russian Ministry of Defence reported taking control over four villages: Hatyshche, Krasne, Morokhovets and Oliyinykove in Kharkiv region near Ukraine's north-east. Now, Russian troops possess more than 9 villages in the area.

Kharkiv region faced a renewed Russian offensive on Friday. Initially, Russians had entered the region but were later pushed back before retreating.

However, now Russian troops have sustained more victories, as per the Ministry of Defence's statement. Simultaneously, in Dnipropetrovsk, Russian artillery claimed to have purposely destroyed four Ukrainian helicopters and damaged one.

Army chief, Syrskyj, shared that Ukrainian forces are putting in an intense effort to hold the defensive lines and positions and cause harm to the enemy. Echoing the same, Syrskyj added that the last week had seen multiple failed attempts by Russians to establish their dominance in the Kharkiv region. Syrskyi also ensured that rotation of units was in progress to provide soldiers with breaks and restore the brigades' strengths.

Ukrainian shelling allegedly led to a partial collapse of a multi-storey building in Belgorod, causing at least three casualties and approximately 20 possible deaths. Gladkov, the governor of Belgorod Oblast, mentioned that the region had faced heavy attacks from Ukrainian forces.

Russian energy company, Gazprom, may be facing a tough time as a result of the Ukraine war. Economic analysts project that the company's worsened relations with its Western clients will check its profitability until 2030. According to recent figures, Gazprom has experienced its first net loss year in 2001. Gazprom informed about owing tax totalling €25 billion (9 % of Russia's state revenue) in 2023. However, visuals shared by Ukrainian outlets depicted considerable fireballs - a stark contrast to Russians' claims regarding the damage.

A Moscow-based driver successfully crossed through the Azov Sea border, confirming the same. This driver provided vital intelligence regarding the Russian army, its positioning of tanks, and fighting strategies. The driver informed that most Ukrainian cities were deserted except for Kherson, Mariupol, and Zaporizhzhia, where people were still living in their homes. Moreover, the driver relayed that parts of the E40 highway in Ukraine were being shelled by the Russians.
