Hilaria and Alec Baldwin - 12th wedding anniversary with "highs and lows"
Alec Baldwin (66) will have to answer to court for manslaughter charges in a few days. Before that, they celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary on June 30th. "Good and bad. Highs and lows. Seven children. [...] Four dogs. Four cats. Despite some challenging times for me, I wouldn't trade it for anything", the Hollywood star wrote on his Instagram account.
He shared two wedding photos and a recent selfie with his wife Hilaria. "I fell in love with you the moment I met you, and it seemed like a dream to marry you", the actor recalled. He then congratulated Hilaria, with whom he has seven children, on her birthday and called her his "gift".
"We hold on"
Hilaria also spoke of love in her declaration of love for her husband regarding the difficult times. "There were not only joyful highs and sad lows that life inevitably brings, but we have also experienced everything: sideways, zigzag, great love and also things that are so painful and go clearly backwards", she shared on her own Instagram channel. The couple is grateful for every shared day and "hold on to each other".
Trial for manslaughter starts mid-July
The wedding day follows only a few days after the accusation against Alec Baldwin was confirmed again. His lawyers failed once more to prevent the upcoming manslaughter trial for the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins (1979-2021) on the set of his film "Rust" on July 9th. As planned, he will have to appear before the jury on that day. In case of arrest, Baldwin faces up to 18 months in prison.
The American continues to maintain his innocence: He did not pull the trigger of the prop gun that killed the cinematographer in October 2021. Hilaria Baldwin stands by her husband. "When you go through something heavy, you know that not every day is the same. There are moments during the day that are very hard. The nights are hard, the nightmares are hard. So I'm just there and take care of you", she told "Extra" in an interview in December 2022.
