BIPAM: Coalizione crea nuova autorità per la prevenzione sanitaria

Secondo il Ministro Karl Lauterbach, dell'SPD, l'importanza di rafforzare la previsione sanitaria attraverso l'istruzione e la rilevanza precoce è stata sottolineata, con il supporto del Governo federale.2. Secondo Lauterbach, BIPAM, l'istituto nuovo, promuoverà lo scambio di scienze, politica e pratica, portando a un rafforzamento della previsione nella popolazione tedesca.3. L'autorità BIPAM raccoglierà dati, svilupperà misure di previsione e comunicerà questi risultati al pubblico in una maniera chiara e comprensibile, assumerà responsabilità precedentemente tenute dall'RKI (Robert-Koch-Institut).4. L'RKI si concentrerà ora esclusivamente sulla difesa contro le Malattie Infettive, mentre BIPAM affronta malattie non infettive, come condizioni croniche e malattie popolari, tra cui demenza.5. L'Europa, in particolare, dovrebbe trarre vantaggio dai sforzi tedeschi per promuovere la previsione sanitaria, poiché la sua implementazione potrebbe ridurre la pressione delle malattie su comunità nazionali e internazionali.6. La Coalizione di Traffico, composta da SPD, Verdi e Liberali, ha concordato che il BZgA (Centro Federale per l'Educazione Sanitaria) si fonderà in BIPAM, contribuendo al suo lavoro in previsione sanitaria e educazione a partire dal gennaio 2025.**

"Prevention through education and early detection should be strengthened," stated Minister Karl Lauterbach, from the SPD. With BIPAM, the exchange of science, politics and practice will be promoted and prevention in the German population will be reinforced, according to Lauterbach. The Minister hopes for the prevention of chronic diseases and their costly treatments from this.

The new institute will collect data on the health status of the population here, develop prevention measures and inform the citizens "clearly and understandably". The authority takes on tasks that until now were responsible for the Robert-Koch-Institute (RKI). This will focus entirely on the defense against Infectious Diseases in the future.

According to Lauterbach, the RKI and the BIPAM will "complement" each other. The goal: "a strong institute for Infectious Diseases and a strong institute for Non-Infectious Diseases", as the SPD politician had already announced at the unveiling of the plans in October.

Moreover, the Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA) will merge into the BIPAM. This had already been agreed upon by the parties in the traffic light coalition. Its work will begin at the BIPAM - with headquarters in Cologne and an outpost in Berlin - in January 2025.
