Zelensky will address the Bundestag on Tuesday.

Since the conflict began, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been to Berlin twice, and there might be a third visit soon. As per a media report, Zelensky is scheduled to address the MPs in the parliament during this visit.

The Ukrainian President is slated to travel to Berlin on Tuesday, as per information from the "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung." He may make a speech in the Bundestag as well. The potential reason behind his visit could be the reconstruction conference for Ukraine being organized by the Foreign Office in the country's capital. Rumours have been circulating whether Zelensky would also attend this event.

As per the F.A.Z., the head of the German-Ukrainian Parliamentary Group, Green Party member Robin Wagner, pushed for a Bundestag address from Zelensky. Wagner wrote to the Bundestag President, Bärbel Bas, expressing that "Speaking in the highest German parliament would be an important symbol of our alliance and friendship with Ukraine and an expression of our respect for the nation's progress."

This would be the third trip to Berlin by Zelensky since the war. His most recent visit was in February, where he met with Chancellor Olaf Scholz. This visit would be the first time Zelensky communicates with the MPs in person. The Parliament would need to convene a special session for Zelensky's speech.

At present, Zelensky is in France, and President Emmanuel Macron will receive him at the Elysee Palace today. There are plans to sign various agreements between the two nations during the meeting, and Macron assured cartoonist Ukraine the delivery of Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets soon. From the summer onwards, Ukrainian pilots will be trained in France.

During the Berlin conference on reconstruction, around 1,500 guests from Ukraine's associated countries are expected. The primary focus will be on providing immediate relief in response to the severe Russian attacks on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure.
