Hannover - Young people allegedly pushed a woman in front of an incoming train
Probably juvenile offenders pushed a 56-year-old woman in front of an incoming tram in Hannover. The public prosecutor classified the case at a halting place on late Friday evening as an attempted murder, as the police announced on Tuesday.
Witnesses signaled the tram driver to stop, preventing the tram from hitting the woman. During the fall into the track bed, she sustained severe injuries and later managed to go to the hospital on her own.
Hanover Police searching for suspects
According to the latest knowledge of the criminal police, several women had gotten into an argument with three unknown individuals. Two of the alleged offenders assaulted the 56-year-old woman, causing her to fall. After further kicks, she fell into the track bed.
The alleged offenders managed to escape. The Police are asking the public for help. Two of the suspects are believed to be around 14 years old, and a potential accomplice is between 14 and 16 years old.
The incident occurred in Hannover, which is located in Lower Saxony, Germany. The Hanover Police are currently conducting a search for the suspected juvenile offenders who pushed the woman onto the Stadtbahn track bed.
