Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, becoming the first female and African leader of the World Trade Organization (WTO), expresses her desire for a second term. Her representative stated that she has formally declared her intentions to serve another four-year period as Director-General. At 70 years old, she is buoyed by the "extensive and diverse approval" of the members.
