Accident - Worker falls from roof and injures himself seriously

At a construction site in Mittelfranken, a worker fell five meters deep and sustained serious injuries. The police spokesperson stated that his life could not be ruled out. The 50-year-old worker, according to police reports, had been working on the roof of a hall in Thalmässing (Landkreis Roth) on a Monday. When he stepped on an Eternit plate on the roof, it reportedly broke, causing him to fall into the depths. His colleagues allegedly called the paramedics. A helicopter reportedly flew the severely injured man to a clinic in Nuremberg.

The construction site where the incident occurred is located in Middle Franconia, specifically in Thalmässing, Bavaria. Despite the severe injuries, there's hope for the worker's recovery as his life is not yet deemed impossible. The mishap took place on a building site, where the worker was engaged in roofing work. Unfortunately, an accident ensued when a broken Eternit plate caused him to fall five meters deep.
