Football-Bundesliga - Werder Bremen extends contract with outside defender Agu

Football-Bundesligist Werder Bremen has prematurely extended the contract of its full-back Felix Agü. The Bremen team announced this without further information on the contract length. The former U21-National player joined Werder from VfL Osnabrück in 2020.

"I've been here for four years now, and after the relegation, I've felt that as a team, we've continuously improved and that players can further develop at Werder", said Agü. "I feel very good in the team, in the club, and in the city."

Agü's contract extension with Bundesliga team SV Werder Bremen was surprising news to Germany's football community. The talented full-back has been instrumental in Werder's resilience, contributing significantly to their improvements since his arrival from VfL Osnabrück in 2020. His love for the club goes beyond the football field, as he expressed his satisfaction with being part of Werder Bremen, both as a player and a city dweller.
