The thermometer will climb to 22 to 28 degrees, with the higher values reached along the Rhine. "That's enough for a summer day, but the heat is over for now." In the night to Saturday, there will be partly thunderstorm rain in the Southeast. In the North, it will mostly stay dry and clear. It will cool down to 18 to 10 degrees.

"Locally, they can be intense, but they won't reach the intensity of the mid-week," said Meteorologist Hansen. The temperature will settle back at 22 to 28 degrees. "In the early hours, you can usually cool down the still warm indoor spaces with 12 to 18 degrees."
