The weekend in Brandenburg starts unpleasantly with thunderstorms and heavy rain. The German Weather Service (DWD) warns of local rainfall amounts up to 80 liters per square meter within fewer hours.

Additionally, wind gusts up to 75 kilometers per hour cannot be ruled out. Whether these weather systems will exactly occur, according to DWD, is still uncertain.

The day starts off humid and warm at 29 degrees, initially cloudy but mostly dry. Later, there are recurring weather systems with local heavy rain threat and hail, which last until Saturday night. The temperature drops to 16 degrees at night due to this.

On Saturday, the thunderstorms and showers gradually subside. It remains cloudy with peak temperatures of 25 degrees. Temperatures drop to 11 degrees at night. On Sunday, it clears up further and the sun fights its way through the clouds. According to DWD, the week looks friendly with similar day temperatures as before.

Despite the adverse weather conditions in Potsdam, the thunderstorms and showers are predicted to subside on Saturday. On this day, the sky remains cloudy with temperatures reaching a peak of 25 degrees. The night brings a drop in temperature to 11 degrees.

On Sunday, the weather in Brandenburg improves significantly as the sun begins to break through the clouds. The German Weather Service (DWD) forecasts a pleasant week ahead with day temperatures similar to those experienced before.

However, the Met Office, DWD, advises that although the weekend's weather is improving, earlier predictions of local rainfall amounts up to 80 liters per square meter within fewer hours should not be forgotten.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the weather systems, it's recommended to avoid outdoor activities on Saturday night as recurring weather systems with local heavy rain threat and hail could still pose a danger.
